A well designed event is an opportunity to create an indelible memory for a client, according to noted event designer Barbara Roos. For almost three decades, the Georgia-based designer has strived to develop unique plans for her clients that speak to their tastes and to her visionary abilities.
No matter the size or scope of the event, Barbara begins each session by discussing the needs and desires of each client. It is that commitment to her clients that allows Barbara’s events to be renowned for their uniqueness.
Not only does Barbara produce more than 90 events each year, she is known for her commitment to community service and fundraising for some of the nation’s most significant non-profit organizations. Her service includes years of giving back to the Georgia chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, including chairing the organization’s annual gala and co-chairing the 2010 Children of Fallen Patriots gala in Atlanta.
When asked which event is her favorite, Barbara enthusiastically responds, “My favorite event is always the one I’m currently working on and I’m good at what I do because I listen to my clients,” she said. “I strive for perfection, and I love my job.”
